The Vampyres are here!
There’s Power in the Blood!
You see, Rudolph Wulf, possessed by the 12th Demon has developed this special blood that when drunk will give a person special powers and . . .
Oooops, I can’t reveal too much right now!
But here are some things I can definitely reveal:
June 1, 2008 is the official release date of “The 12th Demon: Vampyre Majick”.
June 7, 2008 will be the first book signing at Barnes & Noble on Youree Drive.
I will go to Book Expo May 29 to June 1, 2008 in Los Angeles to promote the book and meet lots of famous authors, publishers, and agents!
I have a few books in advance and I may contact some of you if you are interested in reading the book before June 1, 2008 to give me a book review.
Jeremy Johnson, the world’s most Awesome Graphic Designer, will be helping me with posters, T shirts, bookmarks, and a few surprises!
I am contemplating a Release Party Friday, June 6th to give out promotional items to my readers. But, I want you to buy the book the next day at the book signing.
And, don’t worry.
I will have plenty of copies of the first book available for those who haven’t read it and want to catch up with the exploits of Jonathan Steel before they read “The 12th Demon: Vampyre Majick”.
I am attending the Christian Booksellers Association International Retail Show in July to meet Christian authors, agents, and publishers.
And, yes Larry, I am hoping to have that necklace with the symbol of the Wolf Dragon from the book available.
Okay
That’s Enough for Now!

I stepped into my kitchen and saw the open envelope on the kitchen table. It was one of those large, yellow envelopes and the label said it was from “BookPros”.Could it be?The envelope was empty! I looked all over the place in despair. Then, I went to my study and in the center of my desk was this very dark, disturbing but eye catching book.”The 12th Demon: Vampyre Majick”. I picked it up and ran my hands over the cover. It was embossed with the symbol of the “wolf dragon” on the cover and spine. I could FEEL it!I almost wept. I felt weak kneed. The book is here and will soon be on the shelves. I hope to have a picture of it soon.

It has been a while since I posted anything. I’ve been busy getting ready for the release of “The 12th Demon: Vampyre Majick”. I am working with Chris Lyon of Perennial Media (perennialmedia.com) on the webisode and it promises to eclipse the webisode from “The 13th Demon”. I am also finalizing plans to attend the BookExpo, the largest publishing meeting of the year. This year, it will be held in Los Angeles the weekend after Memorial Day. BookPros through their imprint, Syngergy Books, will be hosting me and the book for three days. There will be posters, bookmarks, sell sheets, lots of opportunities to meet professionals in the field, and a book signing. I can’t wait!
So, when does the book officially come out? I was searching the internet this weekend and ran across three new reviews of “The 13th Demon” that shocked and pleased me. I’ve listed excerpts from them below. But, what really surprised me was a web page listing “The 12th Demon: Vampyre Majick” for sale as a pre-order with a release date of June 1, 2008. I guess then, the book will be available on June 1, 2008!
New Reviews:
Hennigan’s storytelling skills are surprisingly well-represented in the look of the book. I say surprisingly because it is produced by iUniverse, which is what used to be called a vanity publisher. But the attractively designed cover, the high-quality binding, and the overall professional look impressed me so much that I had to look up iUniverse just to verify that they were indeed still a self-publisher. When I visited their site, I noticed their tag line is “the new face of publishing.” If The 13th Demon is a sample of that new face, it’s a very attractive one indeed. While there are still more typos than in a traditionally published book and a few sometimes jarring misattributions of characters, the overall quality is much improved over self-published books of even a few years ago.
At the back of the book, Hennigan includes a helpful resource list for further reading on science and spirituality as well as a sneak peek at a sequel, The 12th Demon: The Blood of the Vampyre. There is no word on whether the sequel (prequel?) will be with iUniverse or a major publisher. The writing quality and storytelling prowess are certainly worthy of a major publisher’s attention.

Another excerpt:
Looking for a page turner that you will not be able to put down, here it is. Once you begin this one make sure you have time to finish or be prepared to be late to school, work, or where ever you may need to be. This is a gripping page turner page after page from beginning to end.
And so the quest begins, but where does one look to find the demons and to prevent evil?
An excellent entertaining read that demands to be finished once the first page has been read. An astounding 5 stars!
